The segments are linked, so lifting one slice pulls the next, and the next. Set it down and it folds back into a fruit. Pick it up and it turns into a little kinetic sculpture. It is strange, it is tactile, and it is very hard to put down.
The details
About 2.75 inches across. Printed one at a time in our Cypress, Texas workshop from plant-based PLA. Faint layer lines are part of the 3D printed charm, and the orange tone can vary slightly between filament batches.
Care and safety
Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth. No dishwasher, no hot water, no hot cars. Ages 3 and up. Not edible.
